If you take photos with the phone on its edge on a floor or against a wall or ceiling you’ll be rewarded with completely new perspectives. The thing to remember here is to treat it as an experiment – not all shots will work.

Often you’ll be photographing blind, as the display won’t be visible, unless you lie down and press your face into the ground.

Instead, you’re better off taking several shots and triggering the photo using the phone’s volume buttons, which is the default on some phones. You can also use the volume buttons on a pair of earphones.
